چکیده

Camptodactyly is the name introduced by Landouzy (1906) for one of the varieties of constitutionally crooked digits. Camptodactyly almost always affects the fifth finger, the characteristic lesion being a flexion contracture of the proximal interphalangeal joint. The degree of flexion may vary from a very slight deformity to an almost right-angled bend; it is seldom more than this. The fourth to second fingers, in decreasing order of frequency, may be affected similarly, the extent of the deformity being progressively less in the more radial fingers. Often there is hyperextension of the metacarpophalangeal joints of the affected fingers, and occasionally the proximal interphalangeal joints of

Inm-4: Genetic Aspects of Male and Female Infertility

Genetic causes can be directly responsible for various clinical conditions of male and female infertility and genetic variability may affect the ability to reproduce. This review aims to summarize current research on genetic diagnosis and genetic causes of reproductive disorders. Chromosome abnormalities account for 60% of all spontaneous abortions, and the most common type, trisomy, is closely...

Hamartomatous Polyposis Syndromes: Management and Surveillance Strategies

Introduction: Hamartomatous Polyposis Syndromes (HPS) are a rare group of dominant autosomal inheritance, which is characterized by the development of hamartomatous polyps in the gastrointestinal tract.  This syndrome included Juvenile Polyposis syndrome (JPS), Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), and PTEN Hamartoma Tumour Syndrome (PHTS). PTEN Hamartoma Tumour Syndrome (PHTS) itself includes Cowden ...

Though familial aggregation of JIA is ra...

An Approach to Increasing Reliability Using Syndrome Extension

Computational errors in numerical data processing may be detected efficiently by using parity values associated with real number codes, even when inherent round off errors are allowed in addition to failure disruptions. This paper examines correcting turbo codes by straightforward application of an algorithm derived for finite-field codes, modified to operate over any field. There are syndromes...
